Threads of Me and You
A Collective Exploration of Growth and Connection
The world feels more fragmented than ever and authentic connection with ourselves and with one another feels harder to come by. But I believe stories have the power to heal and connect us.
Threads of Me and You began as my own story of transformation: breaking free from a lifetime of being contained by "shoulds" and limitations, unraveling the patterns that shaped me, and reweaving myself into the woman I was meant to be. But while our individual experiences are unique, the same threads that weave my story are universal threads of what it means to be human. We all carry that quiet hum of longing for something more. We all face the fear of disappointing others while yearning to be truly seen.
Threads of Me and You transforms one personal narrative into a collective exploration. Co-curated with artist Elizabeth Rossi, this exhibition brings together the work of female and LGBTQ+ artists — painters, photographers, mixed-media makers — across three thematic arcs, creating space for visitors to find meaning in their own stories and inspiration to create movement in their own lives.
